    ONSITE Workshop

    Starting: August 2nd - Ending: August 6th

    Top performing students will be selected from the online session to attend the onsite session at California State University, San Bernardino

    • One week of onsite training at  California State University , San Bernardino  (CSUSB)

    • Practice teaching in a real-time class room environment of Arabic language students

    • Generous Stipend ($400/person) plus FREE accommodations

    • University and Service Learning CREDIT available from CSUSB

    Service Credit

    Based on successful completion of course requirement (Passing grade: 70%), participants will have the option of receiving service credit from CSUSB's College of Extended Learning.

    The online workshop qualifies for 4 credit hours and the onsite workshop qualifies for an additional 4 credit hours.

    The title of the class is ARAB 1000 and ARAB 1001: "Teaching of Arabic as a Foreign Language".

    The participants are expected to cover their own cost of receiving the Service Learning Credit ($70/credit hour).

    General Questions
    1. How many times can I view course content?
      1. Course content can be viewed as many times as you would like.
    2. How many times can I take the Quiz?
      1. You can only take the quiz once and the results are recorded for assessment. Once you have taken the quiz the system will display the correct response to any wrong answer.
    3. What happens if I log out or stop taking in the middle of the course or quiz?
    1. You can log out of the course at any time. However each time you log out and log back in you will need to navigate through the course to get to where you left off.
    2. Quizzes should be completed in one session. Any extended break in activity while taking the quiz might cause problems with scoring of the quiz.
    1. How can I participate in the discussion for each course?
