Overview

This course aims to educate Arabic language teachers on using the communicative approach in their teaching methods and increasing opportunities for interaction inside their classrooms. The sessions in this course will also help teachers to learn about assessment methods and techniques.

Participants will attend an online training conducted by Aldeen Foundation for six weeks (90 minutes/week average), listening to the lectures, reading notes, taking quizzes, and participating in the discussion forum.

Course Content 6 weeks of online training for Arabic teachers featuring the following:

  • Multiple Intelligences and brain development theories.
  • Differentiated instruction in language classrooms.
  • OPI Familiarization.
  • Understandings, practices, and needs related to assessment among Arabic language educators.
  • Creating opportunities for interaction in Arabic Language classroom.
  • Teaching native and non-native speakers of Arabic.
  • The link between assessment and planning.
  • Finding materials and resources in early language classroom.
