Shadia Issa شادية عيسى

Mrs. Shadia Issa has been utilizing her knowledge of Arabic and Islam to meaningfully contribute to the Arabic and Islamic community by teaching in American Muslim schools in southern California for the past 19 years, and now working as Arabic teacher in New Horizon Irvine Elementary school. Mrs. Issa received her degrees from both Beirut Arab University in Lebanon and Central Missouri State University, in addition to several Seminars on teaching modern Arabic.

Mrs. Issa�s broad teaching experience has given her a global perspective on what it means to be an American Muslim. She has taught Arabic and Islamic Studies in Palestine, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and the United States. Ms. Issa has been a valued and innovative instructor of Arabic Language, using creative ways to make learning relevant to all her students. Mrs. Issa is best known for making Arabic exciting and interactive with engaging energetic lesson for her students. She has a gift for creating personal connections with her students that last a lifetime. Mrs. Issa�s deep knowledge and understanding of Islam and Arabic language is reflected in her challenging daily lessons with her students.
