Dr. Michael Cooperson د. مايكل كوبرسون
Ph.D

Michael Cooperson is professor of Arabic language and literature at UCLA.  He has also taught at Dartmouth College and at the Middlebury School of Arabic.  His publications include Classical Arabic Biography (Cambridge, 2001) and Al-Ma'mun (One World, 2004).  His areas of interest include Abbasid cultural history, translation, and time travel literature.
